Elementary Parents –

We know helping students make more healthful meal choices will give them a head start on the path to academic success. Plus, learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle today will shape students’ long-term health and well-being as well. Saint Bridget School desires to provide student-inspired menus to keep our students happy, healthy, and energized for learning.

Our menu features fresh fruits and vegetables, low-fat meats and dairy products, whole grains, organic choices, and baked, rather than fried, items. In addition, menu planning seeks to eliminate added trans fat and reduce processed foods, added fats, sugar, and salt. Well-balanced, appealing meal selections and a child-friendly dining environment are specifically designed to encourage smart choices and increase meal participation, helping students stay fueled and focused for a productive day.
