“Building Community through Faith and Learning”

At Saint Bridget School, I love going to church, it makes me feel good and I love the library for the quiet and all the books.” ~ Paxton, First Grade

I love doing stations at Saint Bridget because it gets your hands and your brain going!” ~ Bridget, First Grade

As you can tell from the quotes above, Saint Bridget Catholic School is a very special and beloved place. It is a community of faith, love and learning deeply rooted in our Catholic traditions. None of this would be possible without the support of our school families, dedicated faculty, staff and a highly supportive Priest and Parish.

Even today, the cost of a Saint Bridget education is far below that of other comparable schools. The school leadership is working constantly to keep tuition rates affordable for our families.  We are fortunate to have some financial support from the Diocese of Richmond and our own Saint Bridget Parish. These revenue streams, along with tuition, provide the majority of our funding. Unfortunately, it is a reality that these revenue sources do not reflect the total cost of educating a Saint Bridget student. To fill this gap, we must rely on our own community of family, alumni, and friends.

The following chart represents the breakdown of our annual revenue resources. As you can see, even with support from the Church and the Diocese, there remains a material gap that must be raised.

Based on these revenue percentages, our Annual Appeal goal for this year is $75,000. Ideally, exceeding this goal allows us to invest more money. The investment money will allow us to increase pay for our teachers, provide additional programs and enhance our current offerings.

Therefore, our Annual Appeal is critical and we need every family to participate at some level. If each family gave $20, it would raise $5,600 for our annual budget gap. If each family gave $50, it would raise $14,000 for our annual budget gap. And finally, if each family gave $100 it would raise $28,000. We understand that everyone cannot afford to give the same amount every year, however, what we are asking, is that you prayerfully consider what you can afford. Whatever you give WILL make a difference.

Our Richmond community depends on Saint Bridget to spread the good news of our Catholic Faith and to offer a strong curriculum that fosters both spiritual and academic growth. Our Christ-centered environment is unique because of these intertwined qualities.

When you reflect on your year-end giving, please consider Saint Bridget School. Your contribution to our Annual Appeal will enable us to carry on our traditions and continue a legacy for generations to come. May God bless you and those you love.

Saint Bridget has taught me how to take notes, study, and to take tests to prepare me for high school. They have also allowed me to take high school credit classes.” ~ Zoe, Seventh Grade

Saint Bridget School teaches us how to properly act and treat each other.  It also lets us know that God is always with us and we can talk to him whenever we want.” ~ Bridget, Eighth grade
