The goal of Catholic education is to integrate Christian values with the academic learning experience.
We are committed to challenging students academically as well as spiritually.
Religious education is an important part of showing children how to live their faith each day.
For sixty years, Saint Bridget School has left a positive footprint on the greater Richmond community. Thousands of young people have experienced the excellent preparation provided at the school by its dedicated faculty and staff. These young people have settled both near and far from the cozy confines on York Road, as they continue to share their gifts of time, talent, and treasure. The past is definitely rich, and it speaks volumes for the tradition of excellence for which the school is known.
You are invited to tour our website and discover all that makes Saint Bridget School a wonderful and special place. If you are looking for engaged learning, a rich Christian-based faith environment, friendly children, and a committed parent community, SBS is the school for you! Our doors are open; you can start here and go anywhere!
The week of June 10th – 14th, rising Kindergartners through rising 6th graders participated in this year’s Create and Explore Summer Art Camp, hosted by Emily Wooley ( art teacher, Chesterfield County) and Megan Wright ( art teacher, St Bridget School). The students had a great time interacting with each other and experimenting with all sorts of materials. On the last day of camp we had a gallery showing for friends and family in which students showed off their tie-die t-shirts, paper mache monsters and surrealist collages.
